Mexico Advances to Gold Cup Final with 3-0 Win

First Half

Mexico reached the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup final with a comfortable 3-0 semifinal win over Jamaica in Las Vegas. Rogelio Funes Mori gave Mexico the lead in the 17th minute, heading home a cross from Jesus Corona. Mexico went further ahead in the 31st minute when Orbelin Pineda fired a shot into the top corner. Santiago Gimenez scored Mexico's third goal in the 59th minute, tapping home a cross from Edson Alvarez.

Second Half

Jamaica came out more aggressively in the second half, but Mexico was able to hold on for the victory. Mexico will now face the United States in the Gold Cup final on Sunday.
